The Vital Role of Connection in Sustained Recovery

Staying connected after treatment is paramount to the sustained success of one's recovery journey. Beyond the shared experiences, it serves as a lifeline of support, offering a sense of belonging and understanding that is fundamental to long-term sobriety. Alumni engagement is not just a postscript to treatment; it's an ongoing, dynamic process that enhances overall well-being. Staying involved post-treatment is not just an option; it's a cornerstone for building a robust foundation for a fulfilling and lasting recovery.
Recovery Syndicate hosts a weekly Alumni AA/NA meeting every Wednesday from 7:00 - 8:00 pm. This is open to clients, staff, family members and the general public, as well. Our remote alumni are able to join via Zoom.
Recovery Syndicate is a member of the Arizona Alumni Coalition, a group of Phoenix-based treatment facilities whose mission is to organize quarterly events for all group member’s alumni.
The Alumni team at Recovery Syndicate tries to host a full facility event (clients, staff, and families) every 6-8 weeks, and an Alumni only event every 2-3 months.

“Family dysfunction rolls from generation to generation like a fire in the woods, taking down everything in its path until one person in one generation has the courage to turn and face the flames. That person brings peace to those who came before, and spares the generations that follow.” - Terrence Real, Fierce Intimacy
